What to expect from a reading

Over the years of working in psychic services I've come across a lot of common questions and misconceptions. This is a list of the most common ones and lets you know what to expect from a good service provider. I also hope to address the issue of what to do if you feel unhappy about a service you have received.

Q: What information should a psychic professional ask me for before a reading?
A: Usually name and date of birth. They will ask your name for obvious reasons, and your date of birth as no reputable psychic will read for anyone under the age of 18, depending on how you are receiving the reading, it may also be a legal requirement that they check this. Your date of birth will also tell the reader your star sign, your Chinese star sign, and birth number (numerology).
Readers will also generally chat to you and ask you some general (none specific/personal) questions, just to help build a connection to you.

Q: What should I do if my reading is not making sense?
A: Most readers will start by giving you some info about the present or past. If this information doesn't make any sense to you, tell the reader immediately. Psychics occasionally make mistakes... even the best ones, if it's apparent that they can't connect or get accurate information for whatever reason most of them will stop the reading and refund you, most psychics will also be able to refer you to another professional that you may "click with" better.
Don't wait til the end of a 45min reading to say anything, it is not unreasonable for a psychic to refuse a refund at this point... simply because a lot of people use it as a ploy to get a free reading.
Do not say nothing and then leave a snipey review online, as I said earlier occasionally psychics make mistakes and it's not fair to publicly bash them without giving them the option to address the situation.

Q: Are the reviews on psychic websites real?
A: Sometimes! A lot of them are real, some of them not so much. Some psychics have, and will get friends/family members to leave fake reviews. The flip side of that is that some people blackmail psychics for free readings on threat of bad review if they don't get them. I would certainly recommend reading a good selection of reviews for a psychic. I would also recommend running their name through google and seeing what pops up.
